Client: Yamaha Nepal
Project: Yamaha Thrills
Yamaha Thrills is an interactive online gaming platform developed to strengthen the digital presence of the reality show Yamaha Roadies Nepal and deepen audience engagement for the brand Yamaha.
Designed as a seasonal digital extension of the show, the platform translated each season’s theme into immersive, themed online games that encouraged repeat visits, participation, and fan interaction beyond television.
We successfully developed and launched the platform for two consecutive seasons, aligning the website design, user experience, and game mechanics with each season’s unique narrative.
Translating TV show themes into digital experiences: Each season had a strong visual and emotional theme that needed to be reflected consistently across the website and games.
Sustaining user engagement across seasons: The platform needed to feel fresh every season while retaining a familiar user experience.
Variety of games within one platform: Integrating multiple game formats (quizzes, treasure hunts, memory games, puzzles) without compromising performance or usability.
Brand alignment: Ensuring the platform matched Yamaha’s brand identity while still capturing the edgy, adventurous spirit of Roadies.
Scalability: Designing a system flexible enough to accommodate future seasons and new game types.
Theme-driven design & development:
Modular game architecture: Built reusable and scalable game components that allowed easy customization for new themes and seasons.
Engaging UX/UI: Created intuitive navigation and visually immersive interfaces to keep users engaged across multiple game sessions.
Performance-focused development: Optimized the platform for smooth gameplay across devices, ensuring accessibility and responsiveness.
Brand-focused execution: Balanced Yamaha’s premium branding with the energetic and adventurous tone of Yamaha Roadies Nepal.
